Pictured trying out our accessible garden beds is Michael who visited on 9 Feb 2022.
It was a sunny Wednesday to enjoy the pleasures of gardening including collecting radish seeds for next season and thinning out carrots while commenting on how lovely it was to breathe in the aroma of basil near face height. Rare as it is to see such facilities in community gardens they have great potential to enrich people’s lives.
We’re very happy with this example of community working together to overcome a bunch of challenges from multiple lockdowns to torrents of rain in order to achieve something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Looking good – let’s hope for some more “accessible” weather in Autumn!
Still plenty of rain happening so far this Autumn David!
